Kingsbarns Community Council
"Community councils are the most local tier of statutory representation in Scotland. They bridge the gap between local authorities and communities, and help to make public bodies aware of the opinions and needs of the communities they represent." - Scottish Government
Kingsbarns Community Council (KCC) meetings are held once every two months, usually on the first Monday of January, March, May, July, September and November at 7.00 pm, in the village's Memorial Hall. All residents are welcome to attend and to take part in the often lively discussion. If there is something specific you'd like to raise please contact the Secretary beforehand so that the item can be added to the agenda. The agenda is posted on this site and on the KCC noticeboard in The Square before each meeting. In addition, admin meetings are called if and when necessary. These meetings have no decision-making powers but rather will make recommendations to the Community Council. Reports and and minutes of these meetings are published on the website.
Our local councillors can also be contacted via their details listed on the website under the Members tab.
The next Kingsbarns Community Council Meeting will be on Monday 4th September July 2023 at 7pm in Kingsbarns Memorial Hall.
